The Tidal Cave

The legends spoke of a hidden cave that appears only once a year, just as the tides pull back to their lowest point. Inside, it’s said there are relics of an ancient sea-worshipping cult, left behind centuries ago when they vanished without a trace. You stand at the mouth of the cave now, the sound of the ocean already beginning to rise behind you. A wet, mossy staircase descends into the dark. Your torch flares to life, revealing odd carvings on the walls—images of massive, strange creatures that don’t look quite like fish. Somewhere below, you hear what sounds like dripping... but is it? Will you descend into the darkness?
